Broadcast Engineering & Satellite Capacity
Systems Integration & Disaster Recovery
Integration of broadcast and IT subsystems with tested failover, redundancy and business-continuity runbooks.
Broadcast and IT subsystems usually work in isolation; the risk is in the interfaces between them. We map signal, control and data flows across playout, contribution, distribution, monitoring and business systems, then design integration points with explicit ownership and failure modes.
Redundancy is tested under load, not assumed from a datasheet. We run planned failovers across servers, routers, switches and uplinks, measure switchover time and confirm monitoring and alarm propagation. Where full redundancy is not justified, we document the degraded operating mode and manual workarounds.
Disaster-recovery runbooks, contact trees and restoration priorities turn the design into something an operations team can execute at 02:00, followed by handover training and a post-exercise review.
What the engagement covers
- Interface and integration design
- Redundancy and failover testing
- Disaster-recovery runbooks
- Operational handover and training
How engagements start
Most projects begin with a scoping call and a written technical approach covering assumptions, deliverables, dependencies and acceptance criteria. Fixed-price and retainer models are both available.
