Broadcast Engineering & Satellite Capacity
Earth Station & RF Field Engineering
Antenna installation, RF chain alignment, BUC and HPA commissioning and preventive maintenance for teleports and remote sites.
The RF layer is unforgiving: a few tenths of a dB lost in a waveguide run or a misaligned feed can consume the entire link margin. Our field engineers install and align antennas, torque waveguide and coax, and commission BUCs, LNBs and HPAs with swept return loss, power and spectrum measurements.
We document the full chain from feed to modem, including redundancy switching, tracking and receive levels, then compare the result with the link budget. Preventive maintenance covers connector inspection, dehydrator and pressurisation checks, antenna drive systems and interference scans.
For remote sites, we mobilise crews and test equipment, manage permits and site access, and deliver a commissioning pack that records every measurement and configuration change.
What the engagement covers
- Antenna installation and alignment
- RF chain sweep and documentation
- BUC/HPA commissioning
- Preventive maintenance programmes
How engagements start
Most projects begin with a scoping call and a written technical approach covering assumptions, deliverables, dependencies and acceptance criteria. Fixed-price and retainer models are both available.
